This project focuses on educating neurotypical people on the fact that autism doesn’t have a “look” due to there still being a stigma that autism has specific features. It was also created to show other autistic people that there are autistic people that look like them. I’ve decided to show this through portraiture of autistic people in a comfortable space in their homes, so they can be most authentically themselves. These portraits show that everyone physically looks different, sits differently from one another, wears different clothes and has different interests that you may be able to see around their spaces that I’ve photographed them in.

You can see this series of images in our upcoming exhibition called ‘A Continuous Flow of Nows’ from June 1st-9th in 154-155 Edward Street BN2 0JG!
